Direct Sales Account Manager - Shanghai
Position based in Shanghai, China.Google is looking for a highly proficient, and results driven individual with tremendous sales and people skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong reputation within new media sales and demonstrate solid agency and direct client contacts. This individual is expected to be a team player, professional, and reliable. We're looking for a self-starter who is proactive in driving revenue, increasing the client base, and selling impeccably for Google.
Responsibilities:
Proactively Prospect, Qualify, Grow, and Maintain a territory account list.
Handle incoming leads for designated territory.
Hit target revenue quota (quarterly).
Pitch new business to advertising agencies and direct clients.
Proactively provide smart client research and industry specific information.
Provide campaign updates.
Be a leader and valued contributor for the sales team.
Update and create sales proposals.
Run inventory requests.
Requirements:
University Degree or equivalent.
Deep understanding and experience of the internet, search industry, and advertising sales.
Strongly prefer 2 years of Internet ad sales experience.
4-6 years sales experience.
Established network of contacts with advertisers and agencies (online and offline).
Experience in a fast-paced technology start-up environment.
Fluent in Mandarin, strong written and spoken English.
